Ky Jurgensen is an associate at the Michels Law Firm. He is an experienced business litigation attorney and skilled trial advocate. Ky has successfully represented entrepreneurs and businesses of all sizes in trials, arbitrations, and appeals in complex civil litigation matters. He has expertise in many practice areas, including healthcare law, breach of fiduciary duty litigation, fraud, shareholder disputes, covenants not to compete, trade secrets, real estate, and property tax law.

Ky is a Houston native and he has the great fortune of loving what he does for a living. Thanks to his experience in well-regarded boutique litigation firms and in-house counsel in the real estate and finance industry, Ky understands his clients’ needs from a business perspective.

Ky received his JD from St. Mary’s University School of Law, where he graduated cum laude and was an editor of the law review.He is an active member of the Woodlands Chamber of Commerce and routinely accepts pro bono engagements in Harris and Montgomery Counties. Outside the office, Ky enjoys spending time with his wife, backpacking in the American Southwest, and working on old cars.
